The Butcher & Bolt T-Shirt commemorates the original British Commando raids of WWII. In the dark days of 1940, these men were sent to develop a reign of terror along the coasts of occupied Europe. Their mission was clear: strike hard, strike fast, disappear. The "Butcher and Bolt" policy was so effective and so "ungentlemanly" it provoked Hitler's infamous Commando Order, declaring these men be "annihilated to the last man." This is a tribute to that legacy of ruthless efficiency, and to the men who first earned the green beret.
Founded by a former Royal Marine and UKSF operator, HMG Clothing is built on British military heritage — the history that shaped it, the culture that carries it, and the people who lived it. For those in the arena, and for those who support those that serve.
